KJSnider
Just an FYI, I read that Tony died Sunday morning. He died after returning to his Pierre home last week after being hospitalized for complications from having his appendix removed.
Liv2Hunt&Fish
A very sad day!! He was a great advocate for the outdoors and was a great voice for all outdoorsman. I will always remember watching his show with my dad when I was young. His Dakota Backroads was great and I always enjoyed listening when I had the chance. His voice was one I will miss on the airwaves. RIP Tony! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Jeff Dosch
I had the great privledge of filming a show with Tony a few years back and he was just as you would think. From the first moment I met him until the cameras started to roll he made you feel as if you had known each other all your lives. He was one of those people that you could instantly tell that they truly loved their job. I grew up watching Tony Dean on Sundays and even as I got older I still got a chill when I heard those words " Hi folks,I'm Tony Dean". Tony was a true legend in his field and will be greatly missed. Thanks Tony for all the memories!Jeff Doschwww.doschguides.com
