amsden dam camping/lodging?

Any info on this body of h2o. Hows the boat launch? can i camp? how far is the nearest lodging? Hows spring fishing? Thanks

Boat ramp is pretty good. There is a primitive campground right on the lake. Otherwise, nearest lodging would probably be in Groton...

Aberdeen is about a half hour away.

Thanks for the information. how is the walleye and musky fishing on this lake; is it worth the time?

Walleye, no. Muskie, yes. You can also catch some decent bass, too.

Any size to thise skis? Stained h2o or fairly clear? Thanks!

Everytime I've been over there if you can see 2 feet down that's good. So very stained always seems windy, it's not a very big body of water at all. Lots of rocks, downed timber along shores, couple sunken barb wire fences, nice landing, during the week not much pressure the most boats I've seen on it during the week is 4. Lots of fishing options for a small body of water. But be very careful if you decide to troll anywhere near shore. Size wise you hear of alot in the mid 30's to low 40's I do know of a couple nice ones getting caught and released. Always a possibility.
