Has anyone ever been to this place? Looking at flying out to LoonHaunt lake. Any info would be great

If you are looking at an Outpost trip in this area, you should try to get on a lake where you are the only cabin. It takes away from a flyin when there are 5-7 cabins on the lake and up to 20 other boats out there fishing. On loonhaunt there are about 20 boat caches and a least 6 cabins and if they are all busy you might as well be fishing at home.

If you are looking for a short flight outpost trip, try Gateway North they have 2 flyin outpost that are about a 15 minute flight. http://www.gatewaynorthoutfitters.net

If you want a lake like loonhaunt (same species), check out GNO outpost on pipestone in watson bay. It will be about the same amount of traffic with a lake that is 4 times larger and the trip will be 1/3 price.
