copilot remote programming

has anyone purchased an additional remote for their copilot and can tell me how to program it to interact with the copilot. I am sure its just a matter of pressing the right combination of buttons. I have a copilot that came with two remotes, then purchased another trolling motor with another copilot but the guy couldnt find the remotes so I would like to program one of the extras to work with the other copilot so when I sell it, it will come with at least one remote.

any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have been unsucessful searching the web

Moby1, press the learn button on the side of the CoPilot receiver and it and it will emit a continuous tone, then press any button on the remote and the receiver will beep four times confirming it has learned the the ID of the remote. GL HTB

Ill give it a look. I didnt even know there was a button on the reciever
