Steel Shot for Doves

I finally found some 7 1/2's for my daughter's 20 gauge in steel for dove hunting. Found it at WalMart in Rochester. We hunt all public land so I stick to the steel. Is anyone else having problems finding steel for use with doves? I have found anything for my 12 gauge yet. My son wants to shoot his .410 but I can't find steel for that at all. I checked at Cabela's last night and they were of no help. Any ideas or is anyone else running into this problem?

I found some fast 20ga steel at wm too.But where have you found Doves???

I got some steel 7 shot (Winchester) from Gander Mountain in St. Cloud...had it along while goose hunting this morning and ended up shooting a DOUBLE-BANDED pigeon! Nice to have some dove loads in the blind during early goose.

Since the geese didn't cooperate, we opted to change gears and ended the day with 32 doves!

I found 7's for the 12 gauge at Scheels's. I looked for some 410 steel I have an old single shot that I thougt would be fun to try out for doves but no steel yet. I think its funny shooting that gun but I have pics of gramps with plenty of pheasants that he shot with that gun. Good luck I will keep looking and post if I fing anything.

If anyone in rochester is looking for steel shots try Gander Mt. There are some #7 steel shots available for gauges (12, 20, .410) I believe. I bought my 12 guage steel shots there today.
