Toby
Here is a cool photo i took last summer of an island literally in the middle of Lake Nipigon in Ontario Canada. If you didnt allready know Lake Nipigon is a huge lake, nearly 70 miles north to south. The cool thing about it is that when we trolled up to it the depth read 275 ft until we got about fifty yards away. Just makes ya wonder what caused this sort of rock to form. caseymcq
That is quite the rock cliff. Nice picture. Is that a siscowet in your avatar photo? Or just a really fat lake trout?
Toby
It is a lake trout. The girth on it was 27 inches. The pic got alittle stretched out but that just makes it look fatter.

caseymcq
Was if fatter than most lake trout? A siscowet is a strain of lake trout that are really fatty. Did you catch it on Lake Superior by any chance?
Toby
We caugh it on Lake Nipigon where the pic was taken. The lakers on nipigon are known for getting that fat because of the abundance of baitfish in the lake. Ive seen some with 30 inch girth.
