Here is a picture my 10 year old daughter took today. She really did a great job.

So pretty and captures the day we had in southern MN perfectly. I'm not a photographer like some of the guys (and gals) are here but I think she did a splendid job. From one who was outside working in the southern MN weather much of the day.

WCS--That's awsome man--Keep her interested. I am contemplating starting my daughter out as well, but at only 4 and 1/2 I don't think she's quite ready, even though she begs for a camera. I look forward to her being the age of your girl, so that we can enjoy it together.

Thanks for all the kind remarks. When I showed this thread to my daughter, she just lit up with smiles. She has been hitting us up for some time now for a digital camera. I guess I can think of a lot worse things for her to get hooked on. Last year it was a set of waders so she could tag along on the trout streams. This year I can see her with a camera tucked in her vest for when the fish aren't biting.
