Fish locator not working HELP

erikwells

Question

going fishing for the week and when I hook up my graph "Lowrance Fish I.D. to the battery and I get nothing. I know the battery is fine being I can run my trolling motor on it. I can't be without my locator. Redid connections and still nothing. I wonder if it could be something within the unit (internal fuse)? If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate the help.

Thanks

EW

There should be an inline fuse used when hooked up to your 12 battery(protects against power surges). Check the connectors. Maybe a pin is bent or broken off.

Yes.. check the inline fuse.. they were notorious for causing problems on the older units.. Open up the fuse link and clean the contacts on the fuse, and the contacts that touch the fuse.. it doesnt take much to stop the juice from flowing.
