What do you use

What do you use with 4" ring worms? I ordered some mushroom jigs. I was thinking longer shank hooks might be better. what weights do you use? Haven't ever really used plastics for walleyes before so I am trying to gather info for opener.

My favortie by far (for ringies) would be the B-fishin' jigs which are sold down at Everett's resort. Depending on the wind/current I'll go with mostly 3/32 to 1/4. These jigs "swim" much better than anything on the market, and include the longer shank which is always a plus.

If you don't have a chance to hit the resort, you can also get away with the Lindy max gap jigs. They don't have the same "swimming" action, but the glow and durability make up for it.

Lakeville Gander has them on and off too. Great jighead for current and you can usually pull the hook off snags and rebend them. The mushroom head type works for lakes but again I'd go with TB and get the Lindy Maxis if you don't want the Bfishin jigs.
