is it possible to find out exactly what will be on sale? is it just stuff in the ad posted or more items? would love to check it out and may be looking for specific items but don't really have time to waste if what im looking for will not be there

Ahh... the Cabelas Truckload Sale. Basically most, if not all, of the Clam ice fishing gear will be on sale. Shelters... clothing... rods/reels... accessories... tackle... a pretty good opportunity to grab some gear at a great price!

any pre sale info on X2 Thermal regarding price? Are there CS reps out for this also like St. Paul Show or Blaine show? any freebies thrown in? or does this not work like those shows?

Was at cabelas tonight. Unless they are going to add merchandise tonight, there isn't much there. Basically it's whatever hasn't sold during the season. If you're looking for Clam tackle, don't waste your time. There is some, and it's on sale,but there is very little selection and there are very few colors. No maggot drops, epoxy drops, "regular" drops or dingle drops. Only about 6 duckbill drops. Better color selection of spoons and shads, but again, low quantity. Lots of Clam accessories for the fish house and fish houses. Looks like about 25% off most stuff. Maybe tomorrow's inventory will be better, but that's what is there tonight.

X2 on that- The duckbill has a action like no other. It has this half darting action that has been driving the crappies and trout nuts! I'd highly recommend this one;)
