For those who are not already aware, it is with heavy heart that we share the news that a member of the Ice Team Family, Jim Hudson, died on January 26, 2013 when his snowmobile went through the ice on Lake Superior. Jim was taken from this world way too early, but did doing what he loved to do – ice fishing. Please share the attached piece honoring Jim for the person he was to so many including his closest friends and colleagues in the fishing industry. He will be missed by many, far more than we will ever know.

Please read the following in remembrance of Jim... Remembering Jim Hudson - CLICK HERE

Here’s Jimmy’s obituary: http://www.mountainfuneralhomes.com/2013/01/james-k-hudson/

They are specifically advising as follows: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jim Hudson Memorial Fund at Bremer Bank – P.O. Box 517, Bayfield, WI 54814

Thank you.

I got the chance to meet Jim at the HSO/Thorne Brothers ice fishing show and you could tell the love of fishing and talking that he had. We got to talk for about fifteen minutes and I'm sure he must of talked to a ton of people that day. I saw Jim again at the St. Paul Ice fishing show as I walk past the booth and stpped to say hi and he said hi Chris hows it going today. I met the guy once and he remeber my name that will and always has left a impresion on me.

Good guy I really wish I could have spent some time on the water with him.

Godspeed Jim you will be missed.

I cannot even begin to express the shock and sorrow I feel.

The one thing I do know is that Jim was one of the nicest most helpful guys you would ever want to know.

I miss you you Jim!!!
