N_Foster
I have caught quite a few walleyes at Lake Brandt the last couple of years and I haven't gotten anything over 15". Has anyone else seen any size to these fish lately??
ifishsd
Was at the lake brant boat landing today. Must have been 20 boats on the lake. We didn't try it, as the 25mph wind was blowing right into the landing. Talked to one guy just leaving the lake and he said he caught one 10 inch walleye.I did catch a couple 20 inch walleyes two years ago at Brant. Most of the walleyes are 13 to 16 inches that I have caught out there.
walk on water
I fish brandt quite frequently. I can count on one hand the fish I have caught over twenty inches in the past two years that I have caught in the boat or in waders. I catch a ton on fish there but the majority are 10-13 inches long. This spring maybe the average has creeped closer to 14 inches. I think that's why the gfp lifted the length restriction a few years back due to problems with growth rates. It's still fun just to get out though.
