berfish
When drinving down the highway I always check out the boats heading the other way. Sometimes I notice bass-boats with covers on and some not. People that I know don't like to trailer their boats with the cover on because it takes the shiney finish off the gel-coat. Then I have heard the argument that the sun with fade the boat, therefor cover it. What are people's opinion on this one? Cover or no cover? If so why? If not why? Thanksbf
basguy31
I've also heard that the cover is hard on the gel coat. I only trailer my boat with the cover on when the I expect bad weather on the way to my destination. Otherwise I leave it off.
