Two with lots of weight...

So I am not a small guy wink but not huge. and I have a Yammie Venture 2-up. I had my nephew hop on back to go literally about 300 yards through some woods, curvy trail, down a hill to lake and my shack. He is a big guy, heavier than me. I never got it above prolly 3 mph at most, just putting out there so he wouldn't have to walk down steps through snow.

Hahaha! I didn't think about having that much weight on back of sled does to the steering! Doh!!! The first little corner that I almost didn't make should have clued me in, I had to pull front over to keep on the (non-groomed) trail. But when we got to the hill (more like a sharp peak) and started to go down, I could not steer at all, we got off my trail and the sled tipped into the fluff, we fell off and the sled proceeded to go slowly into a tree near the bottom/lakeshore. haha! We were full of snow, his foot under the track, sled buried in fluff snow, and I had told him, "don't worry, you can wear slippers out there!" so not dressed for "snow".... man did i feel stoooopid smile

So for anybody with two ups who have not had extra WEIGHT with capital W on back, beware the dreaded lightened ski pressure or whatever you want to call it. I have been going up and down this little hill for years and never had a problem, even with two people, but when you add two big people, things change!

Time for a diet wink....
