Hello! I just move from Minnesota to Boilingbrook, IL in Jan. Haven't really had the time to go scouting for lakes yet. Is there any good fishing around the southwest area by Bolingbrook?

Also... I love ice fishing and i know this year has been warm. When does the ice usually form down here and when it does form... can you guys drive on the ice?

Born and raised in MN, spent 13 years in IL (Chicago area), now back in MN for past 11 years. My advise to you is to find a new hobby. There isn't any fishing in IL unless you want to hit Lake Michigan for salmon.
