Anyone else have the same wheel house and think it doesn't get warm enough. Last weekend my heater ran none stop and it barely got over 68 in the house. It's still warm enough just wondering if it is normal or if something is wrong with my furnace. I had the house banked really good too. Any ideas would be great.

Without knowing more details I would say there is something wrong with your furnace or with the propane system. I think your house comes with a 18,000 btu furnace which should be quite capable of heating the house to a comfortable temperature.

Check the regulator vent and also the exhaust vent on the furnace to make sure they are not partially blocked.

I also say furnace. I have a 8X16 Castle and the furnace will cook you right out if it ran all the time. Last year it kept it warm in -10 with a 20mph wind, no banking and it did not run all the time. My floor is also spray foamed which will make a differance.

I have an 8x17 RV edition and up on lake of the woods it was down to -7 and I got up n turned mine down in the middle of the night. I must have looked wrong and had the thermostat set at 75 approx and woke up sweating... it was only kicking in about every 10 minutes then kick out for 20-25 min. 4 days and one 30# cylinder and still have some left and that is with cooking 5 meals on the stove and oven. I would give Ice Castle a call or a local gas company if not under warranty they usually are reasonable on prices!
