I wish they would have set an alternative date for high water temps. Haven't prefished at all this week because of the heat. Those fishing please keep high water temps in mind and practice the best possible handling procedures!

Never have understood why DNR allows muskie tournaments during the the warmest water of the year. For those of you that schedule tournaments please try and have them during a cooler water period. I'd guess you'd get more participants if you do.

Mother nature through us a curve ball out there today. There was every wind direction and a cold front. there was 47 boats and only 7 fish were caught. All fish were released alive and that's the meaning of this tourny. All fish need to be released alive. Had fun even tho the only fish we saw were ones that others caught.
