The current lake level as of August 4 is 698 feet and it is falling less than one foot per day. Channel Catfish - Fair: Some anglers are catching catfish on live or cut bait.

The current lake level as of August 12 is 693 feet and falling. Channel Catfish - Fair: Some anglers are catching catfish on live or cut bait.

The current lake level as of August 19 is 691.8 feet and falling. It is projected to be down to normal summer pool (683 feet) by the end of the month. Channel Catfish - Fair: Some anglers are catching catfish on live or cut bait.

The lake level is at normal summer pool of 683 feet, and is expected to remain steady. The water clarity is poor with visibility of about one foot. The water temperature is about 69 degrees. Channel Catfish - Fair: Try cut bait for best results. Dip bait has also been working. Crappie - Fair: Some real nice crappies are being caught in brush and over smaller rock. Try bright colored jigs.

The lake level is at normal pool of 683 feet and holding. The water is dirty. Channel Catfish - Slow: Stink bait has been reported as working best. The upper end of the reservoir has been producing best. Crappie - Slow: A few nice fish are being caught on bright colored jigs in deeper brush piles.

Much of the Reservoir has been frozen for more than a week; however the rest of the Reservoir just locked up on Dec. 4. Due to areas of flow, the ice conditions are extremely variable.

Areas that are protected and out of the current have up to 7 inches of ice. Areas in the channel could have much less. Use extreme caution here
