duck hunting NE Montana....

Has anyone been out for ducks lately? I am thinking about heading that way within the next couple weeks and was looking for some info as far as what to expect. Not looking for spots, just wondering if there are birds around or not. Thanks in advance.

Had reports that the lesser canadians and ducks are starting to move through the Wolf Point-Fort Peck Area as of last week.

Some smaller migration flocks have started here in the Billings area in South Central Mt. The weather has been to warm for the big migration to happen yet was 50 degrees today. Have seen some larger flocks of Pintails, Canvasbacks, Redheads, and Cinnamon Teal though. No Greenheads yet just the local Greenheads and they have been very weary of the decoys and won't come in.

Anyway should be prime in few weeks if we get some colder temps. The Deer are in full rut this week! Soon as I bag one it is back to ducks & upland.
