Warbler Colors

MARINERMAGNUM

Recommended Posts

Got about 120 good Warbler images in a couple hours today for reference. I shot in jpeg only today to save time and it gives good results if the white balance is right.

The Restarts made my arms sore-they never hold still!

In my Peterson Warblers your fourth photo looks like the spring female Magnolia. Maybe first spring since the eyebrow is not real distinct? But I am not an expert. The Redstarts came in with the Black and Whites at my house, as well, but no Magnolias. I had Yellows, Oven Birds, Black throated greens and I think possibly a Tennessee, but I wouldn't try to take that id to the bank. Even the thrushes and thrashers. What's with everybody all coming on the same day? Your photos are really beautiful. You get such a sense of the detail without cropping too much of the wonderful bg. I love them.
