I'm sure this has been discussed before, but thought I'd ask anyway....What's your favorite color, blade style, brand, etc. of spinnerbaits? And which styles do you like for different presentations (i.e. clear vs cloudy water)

Tom, I use basically the same system as you do, with one exception. Instead of using a 5 gal bucket, I keep all my bags in one of those insulated lunch bags. People (especially my wife) always seem to get these from their employers for free and never use them. So I take them and store my plastics in them. Works great for me.

I also play on partypoker. Have played others, but always come back to partypoker. I'd be willing to play a home game anytime. I also agree with everyone about the 2-4 game at canterbury....it's just not worth your time! Before buying anything new for the motor, I would try a better lubricant than wd-40. sounds to me like it's binding up and may need to be cleaned and lubricated.

Guess I should have mentioned that my boat already has a flasher, I'm just not sure if I need a fishfinder for it as well. And if I decide to get one, can they be used at the same time, or is it one or the other? I like the idea of using one to locate stucture and the other to locate fish. Is there somewhere I can find out more about reading a flasher? I don't have the book for mine.

Ok, I know the are both able to locate fish, but what really is the difference between the two? Do I need both? I have a flasher on the boat I just bought, but I'm thinking of getting a fishfinder too. When would I use one over the other, or should I use both at the same time? Is one preferable to the other? If I get bothe, will the transducers interfere with each other? Or should I be using them at different times? If I'm going with both, should I put the transducers in different locations? Hey Exude, how's it going? Yeah, too bad we didn't get out this fall, but we'll have to hook up next year, especially since my mother in-law sold out her half of the cabin we have up there, so I'm not even sure how much I'll be able to go up, if at all! I'm not too happy about it, but it wasn't my decision. You gonna do any ice fishing this year? I think my cousin is gonna put his permanent on S. Center this year, or maybe chisago. He is planning on putting it on the channel in Chisago as soon as the ice will hold it. Maybe we can hook up for a few hours. Well, take it easy!
