I have a full set of UNSIGNED pheasant stamps, from the first to the present! Anyone have any idea what they would be worth? And....NOPE, they're NOT for sale!

Hmmm...must be the same make of boat I bought and from the same dealership. Just make sure they send it to the manufacturer and not out to somewhere in Wisconsin. Took daughter out tubing on Monday...after we were done thought I'd open it up across the lake. Ran very high rpm's(up to 7 grand,usually warning beeper goes off at about 6200-6300,never went off) and couldn't seem to get much for speed(only 25-30mph, usually can get 40-45mph). This is on a 2005 115 Merc OptiMax...What could cause this to happen? Spun hub in prop? Maybe something else? Also, how do you check to see if prop is spun?

This is for quackattack13, gforce, blackjack and anyone else that's wondering...nope, I'm not a "fenced in hunting farm operater or owner", even though I have the option of having a partnership in one. Nor have I ever participated in a so-called "canned hunt"...this includes pheasants, quail, or whatever! I say to each their own. Also, if you have ever participated in a "hunt" on a game farm for pheasants you are no better than someone who chooses to shoot/harvest a deer from one of these establishments. After all, these pheasants are pen raised(like chickens)and let loose just so someone can have an easy shoot. BTW--most of these areas are fenced in too ! Hmmm...almost "fair chase". I guess they could always fly over the fence. Oops..can't have that, they might have the bird flu and spread it to the wild pheasants out there. Maybe the owners of these operations should have chicken wire around and over their hunting grounds so this doesn't happen. As for spreading CWD...it can happen at any backyard deer feeder. That's why "recreational" feeding of deer should be illegal. What about the outbreak of TB in those cattle up north? I'd be more concerned about the deer contracting that since it's more easily spread to humans than CWD is. Borch has brought up some great points in his post, too. ...Just a little bit for you people to think about... Picture this guys/gals...if you shut down the deer farms it won't be long before ALL "game farms" will have to be shut down. Where would we be then? We'd have overcrowding on public land and inaccessable private land because it would most likely all be leased/bought by the big $$$ guys that can afford to spend their money at these game farms. NOT a pretty picture in my head! This is not meant as a personal attack on anyone or their beliefs. This is my personal opinion and anyone else is welcome to join in and voice theirs.

There is no difference between harvesting pen-raised deer or pen-raised pheasants or pen-raised ducks or pen-raised cattle or pen-raised hogs...none of these animals are "wild"! If you don't like it, don't spend your money there. Otherwise, leave the game farm operators alone...they have a right to earn a living, too.

youth license can hunt both 4A and 4B this year...it's in the regs. not sure if this is only for zone 4 though

I have a '01 Dodge Ram...the check engine light has come on twice for me in the last year. 1st time was a bad gas cap(gas tank is pressurized and the gas cap is kinda like a radiator cap where it has to hold up to a certain pressure, if it doesn't there is a sensor that will set it off). 2nd time I just wiped off the rim of the gas filler and the inside of gas cap real good(lotsa dust and grime will cause it to lose seal) light went out after a few restarts of engine. My bro-in-law works at Dodge dealership and said that it's a common occurance. Can't remember how many restarts he said it takes to reset computer though.

Well...brought my boat up to Link Rec in St.Cloud for winterization & storage. Got there, saw a package from Tracker Marine in the corner, opened it up and guess what? Those IDIOTS at Tracker sent the wrong console, AGAIN! I just about went postal Called everyone on my "hit list" and did some royal ripping. Even went up to the main office and ripped into a salesman(since "he was the only one there"). Told them all that the attourney general's office will get the whole file on this one now. Got the old "we're sorry" bit. Told 'em they could write "we're sorry" an a 2X4 and stick it you know where. Finally, I regained my composure(sorta)...told them to get it fixed ASAP and got outta there before I did something really stupid. Did I mention I had all my hunting gear in the truck?(Guess I could have pleaded temporary insanity)LOL Now I just gotta wait until Monday to get ahold of Tracker's prez. Man, what's a guy gotta do???

If any of you are still interested... The new console(got my fingers crossed) should be delivered to Link Rec in St.Cloud next week. Seems Tracker Marine has been dragging their feet making it. Hopefully, they(Tracker & LinkRec) don't screw this up!!! I suppose it'll take LR most of the winter to install it. BTW...no one at Link Rec has made this "right" with me yet.

I'll be using my old "Mossy"...seems to never miss!

I'd give a really low-ball offer(around $12,500) and go from there...you just never know how bad a person needs some cash or maybe he doesn't want the hassle of storing it!
