Found out they are making Battlefield 1943 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will be entirely downloadable content. They are finally bringing airplanes to the battle which was much needed on the console. It looks to be an updated version of Battlefield 1942 for the PC focusing on the Pacific Theater.

I will definetly be purchasing it on the 360 as I thouroughly enjoyed playing Battlefield 1942 the past few years. I hope they modify the pricing since it is slated for download only at this time.
