Right now I'm sitting in my Canvas Craft spear house and

looking at some perch, typing on my blackberry!!

The pike are on the move, yesterday was our first full day on the lake. We ended up spearing 7 good size pike, the biggest one was 13 pounds! The water clarity is over 15 feet! We are seeing at least 10 to 15 fish per day, per house.

We'll report again on Saturday!!!

Only got out for one morning this past weekend while up on Cass. We speared a small lake a couple of miles form Cass and did well. We too a 26", 27" and a 30". We were in 9' of water on the edge of a slow tapering drop. The water was very clear... It was nice to get back in the darkhouse!

Now on to making a fresh batch of pickled pike!

Yeah... I know what a jerk!!! I really wanted to meet up and at least shake hands, BUUUUT; We cut the trip short 2 days short 1 on the front side and one on the back side, spent a whole day getting the 3 snowmobiles going (being they haven't run in 2 years), and I went up to Red for a day to work on my fish house... that left me 1 1/2 days to try and do something fun....

We'll meet up! We just will have to fisn a time and place that works for both of us.
