i have seen a few ice houses with satellite in them and was wondering what i need to have to get it in mine dish? receiver? cost? and help is appreciated

Well do you have driect TV at home or Dish network ? if not switch to one of them have them come out and unstall it at your house or where every you live and tell them you need an extra dish and receiver and and extra mast to mount your dish on to your fish house and all done So really it dosn't cost anything extra I actully had them come and unstall it to on my fish house to see if I liked drect TV then I just had them later come out to my house and unstall and I think that cost me $50 bucks of somthing like that the called it and upgrade. I hope this covers it.

If you want to go the expensive route you can get a TracVision system which are desiged to go on the top of vehicles, cabin boats etc. They are kind of spendy right now but you don't have to aim the system and during the warm months you can transfer it back to your vehicle.

I recently upgraded my home satellite system... When the guys came out to install, I asked what could be done for the fish house. They told me that I needed to purchase a whole new dish, which would run over $100, and I'd also have to purchase a seperate box. By the time they left, though, they decided to give me a deal; he put one together for $40 bucks.
