Flatheads on the prowl?

From what i've heard is that the Flatheads turn on once the the water temp hits 65 degrees. When I say that I mean you can catch them before that but really start to pattern after that temp. Question, what depth do they spawn, shallow or deep?

I checked out a spot I've been meaning to get to last night. Had one really nice run but got into a snag...bummer!

DARK30 U BEEN GETTING OUT? Been out fri, sat, sun, monday nights . What a change in river temp and water level in the past 24 hours, raised 3 feet and cooled off 7 degress. When I was down yesterday from 3-9 pm she came up 6-8 inches. true story . better story, fella caught a 37 pound flat , I seen it, along with a 20, 10 and 12 over the weekend. Ive hooked on the channels nothing huge but getting action!! tongue.gif
