Rapala Linecounter help?

Hey All,

I'm going to be doing some trolling of cranks, but my Daiwa is the model without the accudepth linecounter. I found a couple Rapala lighted linecounters on hsolist cheap, but they didn't come with any directions. Has anyone used these things? How do I rig the line, and how does the line release work? Is the tension knob for the line release?

I believe you have the line lock off when you insert your line into the slot just to the left of the display. Then you flip the line lock to on and it will push a wheel tight agaist the line so it will turn when line is let out. Not exactly sure but I have seen other models that work in this fashion.
