gvt
Brad, Here's a few pictures of the heater I was telling you about. It heats my Otter Den just fine and it's next to impossible to burn yourself on it. I've fished many days with two kids and myself in the Den with no problems. By the way, I put hyfax runners on the "new" Magnum last night. I did it in the living room so the kids could help, we worked on it until 10pm. They ended up spending the night "camping" in the fishhouse! Thanks again! Here's a couple pictures of one on my Den. Here's a couple pictures of one on my uncle's Clam. Unclefluffy
Very interesting. Where did you find this heater? Looks like it's been passed down as a family heirloom.
gvt
Unclefluffy,Actually my uncle made a few of them. It really is a slick little heater!
Dogzlife000
gvt,I'm very interested in a very small heater like the one you have shown. I have a small early ice spear house with barely enough room for a heater and the one you have shown would work great. More info would be much appreciated. If your uncle is not making and selling, can you point me in the right direction to obtain parts to make my own?Pete
MNice
Just an observation. Is the quick coupler from an air hose, or is it listed for gas? Please tell me it for gas
gvt
MNice,I'm not sure if it is listed for gas. It's served me well for about 20 years! I'm not even sure where it came from but, I believe it was with a heater. Since those pictures were taken I've redone the hoses for both of my heaters (the other heater is a Pearson "anvil" heater, I prefer open flame heaters in the portable). Each heater now has a dedicated hose and regulator. Thanks for the heads up though!
gvt
Dogzlife000,Sorry I must have skipped right over your post, I didn't realize that you had inquired about the heater. I talked to my uncle, he's got a couple left. If you are still interested drop me an email at fearingtrende "at" hotmail "dot" com. Thanks
