My new LX3 arrived Tuesday from Reed's. Quite a deal for $279 plus tax. I didn't think it was worth the extra money for the LX3tc or LX5. It was time to upgrade from my 9 year old Zercom Clearwater Classic 2EL. It would lose sensitivity when I fished outside of the house in weather under 25 degrees. It still works fine in the house and I will still use it on the bow of my boat. I checked yesterday and Reeds still has this deal going.
