Fish Forever
Considering there will probably be 15,000 people fishing where should I plan on buying bait from? Will places in brainerd have bait or will they be sold out. I'm heading up to Brainerd Friday so if I buy it Friday afternoon what tips can you give to keep those little buggers lively for 24-36 hrs? I thin I have a battery operated areator but I'm not sure how long the Batteries last. HELP??
rangr
FF, Have the bait store put the minnows in a bag with oxygen and you should'nt have any problems. If you plan on getting alot of minnows have them put them in 2 bags. I've fished the contest 4 years and have had no problem getting bait the day of the contest. Good luck
Sportland_Bait
Hi Fish Forever, We'll have plenty of bait for you. We will load up Friday morning. We've been here every year since they started the contest and so far we've never run out. We can oxygen pack them or put them in your bucket, whatever you would like. It should be too much of a problem keeping them overnight they are really healthy this time of the year. We also will have the famous Sportland Contest mixed pre-packaged for everyone on Saturday morning. We'll be open late on Friday and early on Saturday to help everyone. See you then and Good Luck!Jason Erlandson
