Clam Yukon TC Chair Setup

Hello Fellow Ice Teamers -

I am in the market for a new 2 man shack and had my eyes on the Clam Yukon TC. Perfect setup for me except one thing, the chairs bolt on to the sled and the back leg does not fold up. Anyone out there have a Yukon and rigged up there own setup for removable chairs? A pin with cotter pin would solve the bolt to the sled issue but the bag leg not folding is where I am stuck.

Anyone of the pro's from Ice Team know if Clam has plans to use a different setup next year? My 2010 Clam Trapper has a nice system like the 2012 Clam Voyager does. Could this be ordered for a Yukon as an option? My guess is all you need is a shorter bar on the top rail of the sled, hopefully the chairs would work without refashioning them.

I called Clam and got no answer so I emailed them. Asked if I could buy the Voyager chair setup with the clam Yukon shelter.

I agree I have a older Vukon that the seats can be removed. They need to offer that in the new Vukons !!!!!

Yep I agree. I moved one of my old style seat setups to my new Yukon and used the new style seats in both as they are wider and deeper and more cushion than the older ones.
