Getting your shelter your ready for the season.

Brad,

I do put runners on my 2 man shelters as I am always towing them with my Snowmobile or ATV. But, hand towing, I do not really like runners. They add weight and the do get nicked up and cause snow and ice to stick, like I am trying to prevent here. Much easier to get rid of this on the tub, then on the rigids of a runner.

Getting mine ready for the season will mostly involve getting it out of the package and assembling it. New Clam Kenai on the way. grin

S.

you should really like this house. I have a first year model of it without the door and this is my early ice house. this year it will also double as a sled for carrying my Big foot XL2000 and the rest of my gear when the ice is not safe to drive on with the truck and I want to fish in a larger space. The one thing I wish is that Clam would have done different on the new Kenai's that have the doors is to leave the material as 600 Denier instead of the 420 Denier on the newer ones. the ones that have the door in them are now a thinner material. the best improvement Clam could do to the Kenai and all their houses for that fact is to make them all in full thermal and slowly phase out the production of non thermals.
