Pole barn steel for wheel house

I'm replacing the vinyl siding on my wheel house and I'm thinking of going with pole barn steel (Pro Rib) I was just wondering who has it on their wheel house and how it holds up to road salt as far as rusting. I'm going to run it horizontal and and not sure yet how I'm going to do the corners but thinking of doing aluminum diamond plate like on the manufactured wheel houses. If any one has pole barn steel sided fish house and wouldn't mind posting some pics I would love to see them to help get some ideas on color and corner trim.

Works great. I used the J-trim for the top and bottom, and their corner trim. I would personally put diamond plate around the bottom...especially in front. I ran my rubber roof over the top J-trim, and screwed the termination strip into the outside. 100% waterproof.

One problem some people have run into is lack of clearance for their winches because of the ribs in the siding.

There is a huge misconception about this. I took the time to do the research and you won't believe it. 1 square foot of white .016 ProRib steel is .656 lbs (weighed it myself) one squat foot of .040 painted aluminum is .585 lbs. My 6x12 with a 2' semi V is roughly 350 sqft not including the roof when you figure for deducting for windows and door and also some diamond plate aluminum up front with aluminum it would weigh 204# and with pole barn steel 229.6 a difference of 24.85#. I can live with that and actually bought the steel last weekend.
