Pike on LOW

Hey everyone -

Looking to go up on the weekend of the 20th-21st. I will be staying in Warroad.

How's the pike bite so far? And Where are they biting? Can I get on the lake? Whats the travel conditions on the lake itself?

If it is too early yet I'll wait a week.

I spoke with folks on Saturday morning that were fishing out from Springsteel, they had caught a few that morning and the prior day, watched one of them getting his pic took with another one as we were driving into shore. 'Tis the time of the season for the BIG girls to start chomping, you'll get them.

Quite a few groups out from Warroad as of late as well as around Springsteel. Travel is getting a bit rough with a vehicle, could get a bit better, but probably alot worse before too long.
