Any updates on Mille Lacs? I may head up tomorrow morning for a change of pace, curious if the big lake is comin' back.

5 boat days on the water (around 60 hours in 3 boats)

1 45" caught and 11 other contacts (follows/strikes)

Brainerd Lakes Chapter of Muskies Inc had an outing out there on Tuesday night. I think there were 11 boats (22 people) on the water, and a group of five on a pontoon as well. Most didn't see a thing, but a couple of boats at least had a little success moving some lazy fish anyway.

I fished last night from 7 pm to 2 am. Absolutely gorgeous night out there, with a little breeze and no bugs. We fished hard on a variety of weed and rock structure, but the old bod finally said "enough". No contact (that I know of) except a bunch of bass and one nice pike.

Sorry man, not much for good news here. You just hear of a random fish being caught once in awhile, and that's it. But there's always that chance of a monster that seems to keep many of us coming back. Put in your time and she'll eventually give one up for ya! Might want to wait till fall though...
