wilsonn166
The DNR HSOforum claimed that snake river in the Big Lake area holds trout. Can anyone verify this?
trappingaddiction
It is a very borderline trout stream because the water does get too warm for trout in most areas of the stream during most summers, like Briggs creek. No stocking has been done for a long time, so there are very few trout left in either of the streams. I did try fishing them (both Briggs and the Snake River) a few years ago and did not see any signs of life in either of the streams (from trout that is). If you do decide to go out anyways, report back. Good luck!
