Leaving in 21 days for the annual trip to Mahkwa. Anyone that has been this year that has info on the roads, water levels, etc. if you could post it would be very appreciated. I heard there is major road construction again this year.

Was at Mahkwa last week of May. Water levels at that time were down considerable. The new road direct to camp was done in 2009, but the last 5 miles are very bumpy & take a toll on your boat with the bouncing. Otherwise the last 20 miles are just gravel, no construction we saw.
