went out this evening after all the raining in Winona. It rained on and off all day until about 8:00pm. At times it was coming down pretty hard.

Anyway we only got 2 fish tonight but one was a 42" x 29" flat, so I guess im going out after a storm every chance I get from now on

ill have pics up soon in the flathead gallery. really kicking myself because I forgot the KOTC control printout sitting on my desk at home, just printed it out today

Blake any weather pattern is good enough for me to fish cats. I caught them before, during and after a storm and I might say some very strong storms. Again its a matter of right place right time I know its an old saying but its the truth.

I love fishing after storms in pool 2 especially. A couple of years ago I found some underwater culverts with my Side-Image. 6 of them to be exact. I believe these are culverts that drain run-off from S. St. Paul. Now everytime it rains, I head over to those culverts and wait for the discharge. It's surprising how fast the fish can find that new current!
