Just got back last night from up north. saturday and sunday we tried to hunt moose but no luck, it was windy saturday and sunday was okay but we didnt see anything. oh well we still have lotsa time. did great on grouse. Yesterday we topped it off with a great duck hunt just out of Morson, wasnt fast and furious but 7 of us limited out. Kind of a mixed bag, a few bluewing, cans, ringies, redheads, bufflehead and the rest were bluebills. Even seen quite a few mallards and got a few of them. Was perfect weather for duck hunting yesterday, west wind about 10 mph or so, and snowing. some of the bays had skim ice, enough to hold a duck when we knock'em down. I didnt pay attention to the water temp but it has sure dropped fast since was last up there. Back up again in a couple weeks. be safe yall!
