Lowrance LCX-15 Issue

I recently bought a used Lowrance LCX-15 fishfinder. I'm having an issue trying to zoom in when I have it in GPS mode. I only have the ability to zoom in to 1/8 nautical mile. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there some setting that I need to adjust that will allow me to zoom in further? I downloaded the simulator from the Lowrance web site, and the simulator zooms in much further than I can with my fishfinder.

You probably have an older chip or a pro map chip. My buddy had the same problem over the weekend and when I put in my 2008 lakemaster chip it worked just fine. It is probably a lake that is not enhanced at all or to old of chip
