Bayfield Charters?

We are spending much of a week in Bayfield in Mid-September. We are very interested in going out on a charter for trout/etc. Any recommendations?

Depending on the size of your group, Craig Putchat will work his tail off to put you on fish. He and his wife own Outdoor Allure in Washburn. He only takes 2 or maybe three people out, but I can say from experience, he's as good as you'll probably ever find up there. If you have a bigger group, he'll point you to a good charter as well. A few years back, my wife and I went out with him mid-September, and wound up with a couple Kings, a nice Brown, a decent Walleye with very large chomper marks half-way up its body and a couple smaller Splake.
