droped tranny, any shop recomendations

droped my tranny a few weeks ago (1997 f-350 crew cab long box a.k.a. the bus ) and was curious if anybody knows of any shops that do very dependable work for not a lot of $$$$$.

i had i guy i didn't even know replace it with a rebuilt about 15-20K ago, we had a falling out over botched repair work and now i am stuck. $h!ty deal but what do you do other than look on the bright side- i don't have to purchase diesel fuel as long as i am borrowing my grandparents spare cabin runner

I know of guy, but his shop is in Zimmerman. A little out of the way for ya.

Try Jim's Country Tranny in Shafer, MN. It's a little out of the way but he's one of the best.

Not a problem. I know a guy who has his own shop in Zimmerman and was just wondering if you were referring to the same guy.
