Cobra vs. Toxonics Bow Sights????

bass-o-matic

Question

Went to a local sporting goods retailer last night to buy a Cobra Sidewinder sight for my bow. The younger guy behind the counter talked me out of the Cobra and into a comparable sight made by Toxonics. The Cobra seemed just a touch brighter than the Toxonics, but I was told had more of a chance to loosen up b/c it used thumbscrews on the adjustments. Anyone have any trouble with that? I bought the Toxonics anyway, but was told I could return it if I really didn't like it. Anyone have an experience with this brand, good or bad? Looking for input as I want to start shooting next week to be prepared for an upcoming hunt in early Sept

I have one of the sidewinder sights on my bow.. not sure which.. it cost me about $90.

I have never had any problems with the thumb screws losening up at all... they are actually quite handy when fine tuning your sights horizontaly.. and verticly if you happen to change arrow weight or tip weight.

They are very good sights in the field.. if its shooting hours, you will see your pins.
