Interesting to see what the institutions recommend vs. hearing everybody's opinion on what is "safe" ice.

As we all know, ice isn't created equally. There are always unknowns that can vary it's strength capacity greatly.

there are charts that have ice formation but with the way the weather has been up and down it would be nice to have a chart of how warm weather effects ice thickness
