  1. Socks and underwear - I guess I wasn't on the nice list
  2. best money I've spent on fishing equipment in years. Love mine
  3. Got a call from them today - want you to come down to the MOA for a 90 minute sales pitch. Said "no thanks". this was the 4th call I've received from entering those drawings - learned my lesson.
  4. Go with the Beaver Dams. I've tried others but always go back to them.
  5. If you are planning on pulling it with a machine - go with the otter. Just saw a pretty good deal on c/l for a medium pro.
  6. It's not required, but the advanage is to fill up the spool so you increase your retrieve rate. If you are on a budget, use tip up line. you can also create a filler on your reel using foam and tape.
  7. I have one just like it. Got from my dad years ago. He worked for the RR and they had them in the caboozes. He said that the were designed to burn coal with the light cast iron. I've been using it in a fishhouse for about 15 years and works great, just be careful. You can't have it close to a wall. You are going to have a hard time finding legs for it. They break easy. Your best bet is to try to build some your self. It needs legs for air to circulate underneath it.
  8. if you read the directions, it states "Apply one coat only. Second coat will not penetrate." I've tried a second coat and trust me, follow the directions
  9. Last year I thought I'd give the rechargeable energizer D size batteries a try. I would only get about 10 hours of run time on them. When I was using high quality batteried before, I'd get around 35 hours out of them.
  10. Check out the st. croix spring. You can change the springs for different actions. Kinda expensive though, about $9 per spring. You also have to install a mount on your rod tip. I've put a vew of them on for people and they really like them.
