  1. Tom7227, There are a few guys in the Mille Lacs area that will transport fish houses of that size. I plan on building one at home and then have it moved to one of the resorts.
  2. I am thinking of building either a 10x24 or 12x24 permanent house. Should a guy be using a 2x6 floor frame or is a 2x4 frame sufficient?
  3. I ended up pulling the cowling off that covers up the blend door motor. I waited until the air was very cold (door fully open), then unplugged the wire harness. I am sure if I would have brought it in they would have told me the blend door was broken, as that is quite common. I can't control how cold the A/C temp is now, but that is not much of a concern seeing as I live in Florida where the temps are 90-98F everyday.
  4. Hello Fellas, I have been having some issues with my A/C for the last couple of months and have finally decided to look into what the problem was. First of all, my truck is an '01 F150 with a 5.4L. The problem I have been having is that while on A/C the temperature keeps fluctuating between hot and cold. I read on the internet that the most likely cause was a broken blend door. I wasn't real excited to hear that due to the repair cost ($800) or the time, 8-10 hours if I would do it myself. I now don't believe that I have a broken blend door. I can see the blend door actuator turning the blend door as I rotate the temperature control. After a couple of seconds of rotating one way, without provocation the blend door actuator turns the other way, and so on so forth. I am not sure if the problem is the blend door actuator, or the temperature control knob??? Any ideas? Thanks
  5. I paid $850 for mine at Beisswingers's off of 694 and 35W.
  6. I left my friends dog in my truck when I ran into the store for a moment only to find when I came back out the he had torn apart the seat on my 01 F150. I cannot seem to find any factory seat covers on the internet. I do not need the foam, just the seat cover itself. Any ideas?
  7. I agree. I love Marcum products, but I hardly think this worth posting as a 2010 Updates. I fully expected to see a flat screen, not some non-magnifying plastic dial cover.
  8. I usually go with the "here you go, you forgot this" line. Without making much of a scene, you get your point across that littering is not appreciated.
  9. It's also much easier to read a flat screen at angles, such as when you have two people using the same flasher in a portable.
  10. I was thinking as I was driving home tonight that it would be nice to see an LX5 unit with a flat screen. I don't want to knock anyone who owns a flat screen Vexilar or Humminbird, but I think an LX5 with a flat screen would be a the pinnacle of flashers. It is of my opinion, that the capabilities of that unit is a bit better than the other two brands top models, but I do love that flat screen display, especially on the Hummingbird with the digital readout. It would also be nice to see a rounded base on that type of unit. Not that it is that big of deal, but I did like the fact that my old FL18 used to fit nicely in a 5 gallon bucket.
  11. dtro, I thought that many times about the camera cord myself. I think my camera would get a lot more use if it had that some kind of recoil on it. I would definitely end up plunking it down a lot more holes if I didn't have to wind/unwind the cord everytime I went to a different hole. It would be nice too if it had some kind of mechanism that would allow you to free wheel the cord out, as opposed to pulling it out a foot or two at time when in the spring loaded mode.
  12. I asked this same question when I bought my Nils. Don't get me wrong, I love the auger, but why is there so much slop in the connection? It seems as though a guy should add in some shims to eliminate the wobble.
