My wife and I love the coffee press. I was reading the post about egg coffee. Could I just add an egg to my grounds in the coffee press and get the same result? Here is what I do now: coffee grounds in press, boil water, add boiled water to press, let sit for 3-4 minutes, push down press and drink.

Does anyone know if a 7 inch Strikemaster Lazer auger shaft will fit on a Strikemaster MAG 2000 auger head? Thanks for the help.

I have one and would highly recommend it. It is nice to be able to control the humidity in the entire house. Ours was installed by the contractor when we built the house so I can't answer your technical questions. It is mounted on the duct work of the furnace and I believe it is hard wired but probably also could be plugged in. I will have one of these units in my house at all times. Good luck.

1. lawn mower battery OR 2. vexilar battery (maybe a dumb question) Has anyone ever tried this? My unit is older without the self-contained battery unit...only clips to hook to a battery. -
I am going to build some mods in my Eskimo Quick flip 3 this off season. I would like to include space for a battery to power some LED's, a computer fan, and possibly my electric auger. I suppose if I want to power the auger, I need a full size battery. However, I don't want the weight. Does anyone have any ideas? How many holes could you drill with a lawn mower battery (or even a vex battery)?

You may want to contact your DMV with this question. There seems to be confusion. I emailed the DNR - they told me I needed a trailer license on the wheelhouse. I then called the DMV branch in Chisago Cty - they emphatically told me I did not need a trailer license as long as the fish house is fixed to the trailer. (????) I sent the DMV the email response from the DNR. The DMV was going to contact the DNR. We will see what happens. ???

aczr2k - How did you mount the computer fans in your house? I bought one for my wheelhouse. They seem to need a quite a bit of clearance behind the fan for them to push (pull) air down to the floor. I started by mounting it flush to the ceiling - that didn't work at all. Now I am trying to find a productive way to mount with clearance behind the fan. Thanks for the help.

FYI - I spoke to the licence branch in Oct about this and, at that time, you did not need to road license a wheelhouse (you were subject only to DNR shelter license laws). So...this must be a recent change. (???) Thanks for the info.
