Rouney725110
I'm in the process of buying a camera and sounder combo and need some help. There aren't too many of these so I'm wondering if its better to buy the new LX-9 or to buy the Vexilar Double Vision. I don't really like all the clutter on the screen of the FL-20 so I was thinking, buy the bottom half of the Double Vision and then order just the head unit and transducer of an FL-22. So by doing that, they both end up being basically the same price. So in your opinion which would be the better to buy. Or should I just stay with the 20 on the Double Vision? Also has anyone had any problems with either of the units. I know the LX-9 is new so I didnt know if there are any flaws they havent worked out yet. Thanks. bigblue
I did the same thing pricey way to do it. I have the fl22 stand alone and the 20 with the scout . If you need the extra definition the 22 has it but the 20 is a much better all around and versitale unit as we fish deep and shallow water for jumbo perch whitefish and lakers . Tough call I like them both thats why I have both . They are typical vexilar reliable and dummy proof. The pro beam on the 22 looks interesting . we use the tri beam which has worked well. Hope this helps .Sorry for the long winded reply.
