SE SD Ducks

Is there anyone that would be willing to answer some questions about duck hunting in the SE part of Sodak? I snow goose hunt there in the spring, but have never checked it out for ducks in the fall.

Here or via email - doesn't matter. I know it is a lottery for license, but I am curious if it is worth applying at some point in the future. Just looking for some guidance...thanks in advance.

The Drawing was held last week for this fall. Check the SDFGP HSOforum and maybe you can get a All state license over the counter. I hunt the NE section and was not drawn this year. The usually make apps available in June drawing 2nd week of July. You do build preference point if not drawn. We enjoy hunting as there is less pressure.
