Big baits along breaklines. Don't waste time up shallow the bass are transitioning to winter spots.

Plenty of good walleye lakes in the metro. You actually have to put your time in and figure them out......that's a hard concept to some people. Fishing is probably difficult not having information from relatives or friends to put you on an easy bite like up north. I thnk it boils down to what satisfaction you get out of fishing; find an easy bite or figure out a bite.

The guy caught and released a giant and he's getting ripped for it?? Let's make fun of everything about him including the color of his gear (which apparently muskies don't bite on a figure eight with that color). This is what gives us muskies guys a bad name.

If the article's correct and the angler's been fishing muskies over a year including night fishing he should immediately know it's not a record....who knows which way the newspaper writer twisted what he said though. One less tanker in WB now .

Still playing puck Savre? From your posts it looks like you've had a #@$@ of a year in the boat. I drive by Harriet on my way home from work every day and base my decision on where to fish (Calhoun or Harriet) by the number of boats. The pressure this year on Harriet was ridiculous and artificial bait fishing was terrible.

CFollow, Your season is over so you can tell everyone else what to do and ruin it for the rest of us fishing until the end? Class Act buddy. Revealing how a well known guide is putting fish in the boat on a tiny lake..... I don't have a motor and enjoy the fact that people won't fish the lake because they can't use their motor. I now look forward to playing bumper boats. What is it with people holding the fish right up to the camera? Ryan Connelly
